Stephanie Caley is the owner of Caley's Apothecary in Wymondham

Stephanie Caley is the owner of Caley’s Apothecary, a natural living store which has moved to a new home in Wymondham, Norfolk. Here, the Medical Herbalist explains why it has been a good move

Can you remind readers who you are and what you do?
Caley’s Apothecary is owned by myself, a medical herbalist (and member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists). Our first love is the Organic herbs, teas and spices; of which we currently have approx. 150+ different ones! We are all about natural health and eco-living, and stock health foods, tinctures, oils, supplements, natural skin hair and beauty care, as well as home care products and refills. We also stock books, crystals, lamps, candles, incense, jewellery, cloth nappies, and have a lovely calm and cosy, yet spacious therapy room.

How has everything been going with Caley’s Apothecary since we last featured you?
It’s been a busy time! We recently had a big move. We’ve moved to a new premises in Town Green, Wymondham. It’s been a lot of fun, too, being able to take part in town events, such as the Scarycrow Trail, and Trick or Treat Trail, and look forward to all the community events to come.

What has led to you reopening in new premises?
The old premises was always intended to be fairly temporary, as it was a little tucked away for what we needed; but we made the best of it whilst we were there. It was handy though, for when we had first moved to Norfolk and needed to move all for the business into somewhere quickly, from London. We always had our eye on moving more centrally into Wymondham, to feel and be much more part of the community.

Are you still glad that you made the move to Wymondham?

Absolutely – we love Wymondham and Norfolk! We enjoy short dips back into London here and there, but it is always lovely to get back here!

How can people find out more about Caley’s Apothecary?

Our socials, of course! @caleyapothecary on Instagram, Facebook, and are trying to get to grips with TikTok. We plan to start getting our newsletter out again, so people can sign up for that on our website. People are also always very welcome to pop in and get to know Caley’s Apothecary in person. We have loved meeting so many more people who have found us in passing, since moving to Town Green in Wymondham!
