I grew up on the Suffolk coast before training to be a newspaper journalist, with the National Council for the Training of Journalists, nearly 25 years ago. I’ve been based in Norfolk since 2000, becoming an award-winning regional journalist along the way (winning a Hair Journalism award two years running).
I decided to go freelance in 2012, and since then I have written for regional newspapers and magazines as well as digital publications.
Folk Features is my ‘lockdown’ start-up, and I post an uplifting/inspiring story for the good folk of Norfolk and Suffolk, Monday to Friday. On this website you will find ‘eco-friendly folk’ and ‘feel-good folk’, as well as inspirational stories of ‘your year’.
I am also available for copy-writing work. Please email Emma on firstname.lastname@example.org
