Hempstead arts exhibition – Norfolk
The popular Hempstead art exhibition will return for its thirteenth year to showcase hundreds of local artworks.
Taking place on the 5th and 6th of September, the exhibition will feature more than 200 pieces from 35 local artists at Hempstead Village Hall, North Norfolk.
All proceeds from the event are in aid of the Hempstead church fund, which will go towards the provision of a disabled toilet and redecoration of the church.
Since the exhibition started, over 150 artists have displayed their work and over £25,000 has been raised. Last year, a total of £3,000 was raised for the church.
Ian added: “It’s been a mammoth effort to bring the work of the 35 local artists together, but the result will be well worth it; do come along to see for yourself.”
The exhibition will be open from 10am to 5pm on both days at: Hempstead Village Hall, The Street, Hempstead, NR25 6TL
Admission is free, and refreshments and light lunches will be available throughout the weekend.
