Adam Spaul is the Director of Adam From Home, the homeware and lifestyle store which opened last summer at The Forum in Norwich. Here, Adam explains why the space has been transformed with educational toys in time for the Norwich Science Festival

We are called Adam From Home, a homeware and lifestyle brand selling everything from furniture to home accessories , kids toys, gifts, pet products, and an interior design service which is how our company began, our ethos is “making beautiful living accessible to everyone” therefore we change our collection every 3 months to reflect the latest seasons trends colours, styles and in demand products at the best value prices.

We spent the first 4 years of the company doing pop-ups and markets around Norfolk and in Norwich and during Christmas 2024 we spent 2 months on a pop-up shop inside the forum so when we were offered the opportunity to open a store there we naturally felt it was the best step in our growth to showcase our full range of products as well as be at the heart of the community which felt very important to us.

We opened officially in July 2025 and have since grown slowly to extend our range and offering which has had a positive response with customers often exclaiming there’s always something new to see every time they come in and our products are very unusual to Norwich and they appreciate being able to find something different to other stores in Norwich as we get a lot of inspiration and source many of our products from London.

We love the diversity of Norwich and the range of customers we receive, the creativity of the students and young people and also the pride in their Norwich heritage of our older customers it can be quite challenging catering for so many walks of life but we try to ensure that we have something for everyone and become a one stop shop for everyone’s needs. We work closely with lots of local creators and makers to also give them space in our store to showcase their products and be featured alongside reputable national brands as well as partnering with local charities such as Norwich Pride.
