‘BTC All Dayer’ festival – Ipswich

April 26

BTC All Dayer is a brand-new, one-day, multi-venue music festival set to transform Ipswich town centre into a vibrant celebration of local and regional live music.

Taking place on Saturday 25th April, the festival is free to attend thanks to funding from Ipswich Central, the Business Improvement District (BID), and will be hosted across a variety of town-centre venues, including pubs and community hubs. The seven venues taking part are the Three Wise Monkeys, CHIp Studios, Arcade Tavern, Halberd Inn, Thomas Wolsey Pub, the empty Superdry unit in the Buttermarket, and BTC-run venue The Church, all located in central Ipswich.

Artist Announcements

Joining the line up we welcome hardcore punk newcomers Done With Waiting with big riffs and huge breakdowns; rapper, producer $ebbuku bringing grime-punk cut up beats with his full band; and midwest emo/alternative band Doll Face from Colchester.

Experimental electronica artist e.m.arson blends sampling, electro-acoustic instrumentation, and sonic manipulation in striking and unconventional ways, while Girl Guide knits a sonic world of lo-fi samples, live instruments, and synths, all recorded to cassette tape aboard their houseboat on the Orwell River.

Led by guitarist and composer Jacob Marshall-Tierney, jazz group Bonuru draws influence from new sounds of UK jazz as well as Nirvana, Tool and The Police. The soft-grunge sensibilities of Norwich grown singer-songwriter kirakira live in the space between bedroom-pop heartache and white-rabbit folk dreams.

Also announced on the line up are 2 acts programmed by BTC’s events industry youth project Tune Up who are producing the Superdry stage during the festival. They are, A Different Kitchen, Norwich outfit blurring the lines between psychedelic-rock and post-punk, and alt-rock, grunge Suffolk four-piece The Detour.

Across the rest of the line up find up-and-coming hip hop artist Kasumu, neo-soul singer-songwriter may gabriels, Cambridgeshire indie-rock four-piece hollowwaves, along with Bag of Cans, Briti$h, The Bungees, Dean Frost, Gasoline Green, iisgone, Jaded Teeth, Joe Gray, JULIET, LOOME, Lottie Brazier, Robin Torbitt, takeda, and Zamani Fitri.
