Bond Appétit James Bond tribute orchestra – Maddermarket Theatre, Norwich

Retired Norfolk head teacher Ron Barrett has secured a starring role with Norwich’s own James Bond tribute orchestra, Bond Appétit, who will perform a full two-hour Bond spectacular at the Maddermarket Theatre on Friday 22 May 2026 at 7.30pm.

At 78, Ron is proving that age is no barrier to showmanship. He will compare the evening and perform classic Bond vocals, bringing his charismatic stage presence and rich baritone to favourites made famous by Tom Jones and Matt Monro.

The show features the full Bond catalogue performed by a live big band, complete with the drama, glamour and musical power that fans associate with the iconic films.

Showcasing the classic female vocals are Simone Perks, popular jazz singer based in Suffolk, and Charlie Moore, who has recently featured in the Neil Diamond Tribute Show, ‘Song Sung Blue’.
