Winter Talk: Black Beauty, Anna Sewell and Great Yarmouth by professor Thomas Ruys Smith – Time and Tide Museum

Anna Sewell, the author of black beauty, was born just up the road in Great Yarmouth. Today you can visit the house where she was born, run by Redwings which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Thomas Ruys Smith is an expert in Victorian literature and will explore the work of Anna Sewell as well as the poems of her mother Mary Sewell.
