‘To Infinity and Beyond!’ day – Castle Quarter, Norwich

Toy Story is set to return to the big screen this month, with the long-awaited Toy Story 5 arriving in cinemas nationwide on 19 June.

After a seven-year wait since the last instalment, Castle Quarter in Norwich is celebrating the long-awaited comeback by welcoming two very special characters to the centre on Saturday 20 June, 11am – 3pm. And fans of all ages are invited.

The ‘To Infinity and Beyond!’ day at the centre gives families and friends the chance to relive their favourite moments from the beloved Disney Pixar series, while introducing a whole new generation to the magic and joy of this iconic film franchise.

Loved by audiences since its debut in 1995, the Toy Story series has truly transcended generations. And in the latest instalment, we see all the toy crew pitted against a brand-new challenge – modern technology and electronic devices.

For one day only in Norwich city centre, the two best pals from the films will be stepping away from their adventures on screen to meet visitors at Castle Quarter. The characters will appear in live meet-and-greet sessions throughout the day, interacting, taking photos and
snapping those all-important selfies.

Visitors can then continue the fun by jumping into Castle Quarter’s ball pond challenge.

Find it in White Lion Square on Level 1 (outside Boots) from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 20 June, where visitors can dive into a giant ball pond and search for hidden envelopes for the chance to win a range of surprise prizes, including free bubble teas, cinema tickets and
bowling vouchers.

This larger-than-life experience is free to enjoy and open to visitors of all ages, adding an extra layer of family-friendly fun to the day.

While the event is free to enjoy, Castle Quarter chooses a local charity partner for its in- centre events, asking visitors to make a small donation to a local good cause, if they can. For the ‘To Infinity and Beyond!’ day, the charity partner is The Benjamin Foundation – a charity working across Norfolk and Suffolk providing youth homelessness support, Early Years education, youth and family support, and emotional wellbeing and mental health services.
