East Pint Beer Fest – East Point Pavilion, Lowestoft

EAST PINT BEER FESTIVAL RETURNS TO EAST POINT PAVILION, 24 & 25 AUGUST 2024, 12PM – 11PM, FREE EVENT
East Pint Beer Fest returns to East Point Pavilion for the 3rd year, bringing the best beers,
street food and live music to the iconic sea front building.

The free, 2-day event runs from 12pm to 11pm on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August,
and will showcase an exciting range of beers, hand-picked by beer-aficionados, Sir Toby’s
Beers. This year’s beers selection follows First Light Festival’s theme of the Cardinal
Points; recognising the Beer Festival’s unique title as the most easterly in Britain, other
breweries located in the North, South, East and West of the UK that have been chosen
include ‘I’m Not a Robot’ from Harleston’s Grain brewery; Lowestoft’s Green Jack Brewery’s
‘Orange Wheat’; ‘Lightbulb’ by Cornwall’s Vedant Brewery, ‘Cryptid’ by Otherworld Brewery
in Dalkeith, Scotland, ‘Retro Stripes’ by Pentrich in Ripley and ‘Days of Wilde’ by Wilde
Childe Brewery in Leeds to name but a few.

East Point Pavilion’s street food traders will be serving up delicious Mexican-inspired vegan
dishes, hot dogs, curries, loaded fries and salads, along with barista coffees, smoothies,
cocktails and soft drinks.

To accompany the beer, there’s also a fantastic line up of live music on offer too; with John
& Lynne Ward performing from 5pm – 7pm followed by Lincoln Skins from 8pm – 10pm on Saturday 24 and The Fresh Twang from 5pm – 7pm and The Rogue Shanty Buoys from
8pm – 10pm on Sunday 25 August.

And if you’re looking to kick start your bank holiday weekend early, Hooma Comedy Club
returns to East Point Pavilion at 8pm on Friday 23 August (doors open at 7pm) for a special
‘Beers and Laughter’ comedy club. Tickets are just £10.50 in advance or £13.50 on the
door, which includes a half pint of any of the beers on offer at the Beer Festival! Tickets can
