Cromer Crab & Lobster Festival

The Crab & Lobster Festival is a weekend celebration of the coastal town of Cromer and its essential crab and lobster fishing industries.
Over the weekend numerous free, accessible and fun events take place.
The aims of the Festival are to involve people who live and work in the area helping foster a real sense of community (and fun), raise money for local charities and benefit local businesses by attracting more visitors to this wonderful part of the world.

The Festival’s art trail has been a central to the festival since it began in 2010. Every year, organisers chose a sea-themed art item which are individually sponsored by up to 60 local shops, pubs, businesses, organisations, and individuals. In the past these have included crabs, lobsters, windbreaks, deckchairs, and mooring lamps. Sponsors invite local artists, groups and children to decorate them in imaginative and individual ways. They are then put on show in shops, museums, businesses, community spaces and schools around the town and surrounding areas.
