Ben and Dom Workshop + Concert – King’s Lynn Festival Spring series

Join singers & choir leaders Ben & Dom for an afternoon of fun and uplifting harmony singing where the duo will teach a selection of accessible and tuneful songs in a fun and inclusive way.
This event is open to all – no previous singing experience is required. The workshop will last approximately 2 hours.
Following the workshop Ben & Dom will perform a concert of songs, including original material and arrangements of their favourite classics – save when you book – combined £25 ticket for workshop and concert available. Call the box office on 01553 764864 to book.
Concert

Ben & Dom are a singing duo from South London. Ben takes the high notes and Dom takes the low notes (most of the time). The intricate blend of their harmonies comes from a close friendship and shared love of singing together. Ben & Dom weave their voices around songs old and new, performing original material alongside new interpretations of folk songs. Their lyrics touch on friendship, nature and what it means for two men to sing together in this modern day.
In 2022 Ben & Dom released their debut EP ‘Shoulder’ and started to build a following. The EP was met with critical acclaim and radio play (BBC 6Music, BBC Radio3), being selected as a favourite release of 2022 by Tom Robinson on BBC 6Music. 2023 saw the release of their debut album ‘His Heavy Lies Heavy’ alongside a 20 date UK tour. Recent performances include Cambridge Folk Festival, Cecil Sharp House, Broadstairs Folk Week, Sidmouth Folk Festival and Dartington Summer School. This autumn the duo will make their first tour to Canada.
