Uplifting stories for Norfolk and Suffolk
The Suffolk Owl Sanctuary and Nature Centre – based at Suffolk’s premier visitor destination Stonham Barns Park at Stonham Aspal – is organising a fun-to-do Christmas Story Trail for visitors this year who want a memorable day out while getting closer to wildlife over the festive period.
The Christmas Trail featuring Bonnie the Barn Owl’s Christmas story lets visitors see the real-life animal characters around the sanctuary. At each page of the story visitors collect a stamp and once finished collect a small prize and enter a raffle to win a cuddly toy Barn Owl!
The free Christmas Story Trail is from 16 – 29 December at the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary and Nature Trail. Admission to the Sanctuary starts at £11.50 for adults, family tickets are available and children below the age of three go free.
Established as a registered charity in 2001, the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary is based at Stonham Aspal in Suffolk, where it operates a comprehensive facility for the care and rehabilitation of owls from the region, and the promotion of owl conservation throughout the UK and beyond. The Sanctuary is open to the public all year round funded by public donations.
