It’s Time To Rock charity gig – College of West Anglia

March 5 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Music lovers are invited to turn up the volume on Thursday 5th March and buy tickets to a special gig taking place at the College of West Anglia, in support of 8:56 Foundation.

Taking place from 6pm to 9pm, the evening promises an electric mix of student talent and established acts. All coming together to support the Lynn based charity’s important work.

Headlining the evening are the 355s, an acoustic-led indie outfit who have been building momentum across the UK Live circuit. The band have previously performed at London’s Dublin Castle, including a Teenage Cancer Trust fundraiser, and have played to audiences in Cardiff at Clwb Ifor Bach. Known for their raw, honest songwriting and high-energy live performances. The 355s promise to bring a powerful blend of original material and reimagined covers.

They will be joined by Radiochair and student bands; Visperrrr and Doc and the Veg, creating a diverse programme of live music across the evening.

Adam Thompsett (vocals & guitar) and Robert “Bert” Hammond (bass) from the 335’s, will perform a special acoustic set on the night.

James ‘Foxy’ Fox (vocals, piano, synth and percussion), Scott Jarvis (Electric and acoustic guitar, vocals), Rich Blatch (Bass), Matt Godbold (Electric and acoustic guitar) are performing an acoustic set during the gig.

With a capacity of 200, organisers are encouraging early booking to avoid disappointment. Tickets are just £1 in advance and be booked via the College of West Anglia website: Charity Gig (Thursday 5th March)

Alongside the live performances, attendees can visit the 8:56 Foundation information stand to learn more about the charity’s work. In addition, Sometimes – the collaborative EP from The 355s X 8:56 Foundation will be able to purchase for £1 on the day, with all the proceeds supporting the foundation.
