Uplifting stories for Norfolk and Suffolk
Artist Debbie Storey has returned to the Pennoyer Centre this spring with her exhibition ‘Wild Encounters’, which opened 22 April and runs until 15 May.
Moongazer hares, wild horses and stags emerging from magical forests are just some of the animals that are hanging in the Centre’s Chapel.
Debbie paints in acrylic, favouring their bright bold colours to portray the natural world. She often uses a palette knife to capture movement and build texture into her pieces, while blending realism with abstract to give her work an ethereal quality.
Visitors will also be able to find out more about how to commission pet portraits and pet portraits with ashes.
The Pennoyer Centre is open Monday to Saturday: 9.30am – 4pm.
