Uplifting stories for Norfolk and Suffolk
Hear from the first Laureate for Storytelling, Taffy Thomas MBE, as he presents his
Storytellers Supper at the Food Museum on Friday 17 May as a special addition to the East
Anglian Storytelling Festival.
Launching the festival of stories, music and dance with Food Museum flair, the Storyteller’s
Supper offers a rare opportunity to experience this wonderful storyteller live and enjoy tales
and dishes from his captivating book The Storytellers Supper.
Embark on a culinary and narrative journey, where traditional tales are spiced with Taffy’s
signature rhymes and riddles. Diners will enjoy a specially curated three-course meal, with
stories from Taffy to complement each dish, such as Cheshire Cheese & Onion pie with the
Queen Bee’s honey dressing.
Accompanied by traditional folk musician Mossy Christian, this event promises to delight all
who savour stories, music and food!
Tickets are £40 per person, including post-event entry to the Storytelling Festival. Available
to book via the Food Museum website: https://foodmuseum.org.uk/events/the-storytellers-
