Uplifting stories for Norfolk and Suffolk
As part of National Volunteers’ Week, the Voluntary Services team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital will be running an event for anyone interested in volunteering at Norfolk’s biggest hospital.
More than 400 volunteers give up their time to support departments and teams across NNUH and there are a wide range of roles, including meet and greet, supporting wards and out-patient clinics and services to support patients when they are discharged from hospital.
A Showcasing Volunteers event will be hosted on Level 1 of the East Atrium on Wednesday 5 June between 10am and 4pm.
It will provide a chance for people to meet the hospital’s volunteer co-ordinators and the Pets as Therapy dogs.
