Uplifting stories for Norfolk and Suffolk
From Monday 10 June 2024 people and organisations join together to raise awareness of loneliness during Loneliness Awareness Week. Lily in west Norfolk is planning a place to go for support.
Lily, which is managed by the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk, helps people who are feeling lonely or isolated by supporting them to connect to organisations that can help in the area.
On Saturday 8 June the Lily team will be based in The Place, New Conduit Street, in King’s Lynn town centre to offer support and advice alongside other local organisations from 10am until 2.30pm.
Lily also has a local online directory containing around 3,000 listings. The Directory aims to help local people find local activities, events and services www.asklily.org
