Sprowston Parish Players presents the UK stage premiere of You Rang m’Lord, faithfully adapted from Series One of the much-loved BBC comedy by Jimmy Perry and David Croft, by Roy Gould and Penny Croft.

Step into the world of Meldrum House, where class, duty and deception collide. After saving the life of officer Teddy Meldrum during the First World War, James Twelvetrees hopes to become the household’s new butler. But when former butler Alf Stokes unexpectedly arrives with his daughter Ivy – armed with Teddy’s gratitude and some rather questionable references – life above and below stairs is turned upside down.

With hidden identities, misunderstandings, blackmail, family secrets and plenty of classic British comedy, this faithful stage adaptation brings the opening chapter of the beloved television series to life for the very first time.

Izzie Porter plays Ivy Teasdale; Luke Fairweather plays Alf Stokes; and Gavin Kemp plays Lord George Meldrum.
