Uplifting stories for Norfolk and Suffolk
Pensthorpe is welcoming artists from across the UK as part of a specially curated seasonal Sculpture Trail, opening to the public on Saturday 7th June 2025.
Sculpture has long since been a mainstay in the gardens of the 700-acre reserve on the outskirts of Fakenham, but this summer, eight artists are sharing their work as part of a brand-new Sculpture Trail.
Visiting the installations from acclaimed UK artists, officially opens from Saturday 7th June and will run throughout the summer until Tuesday 30th September. All of the pieces have been specifically selected to represent the passion Pensthorpe has for the natural world.
For those who want to bring a piece of the sculpture trail home, selected artists, including local creative Amberlights and LV Bespoke are offering their work for sale in the Pensthorpe shop.
Along with outstanding wildlife and exceptional scenery, Pensthorpe is home to five stunning gardens, which evolve on almost a daily basis. Visitors to The Millennium Garden will see 150 species of shrubs, grasses and climbers planted and curated by Chelsea Gold medallist Piet Ouldof, with the Corten Infinity Garden displaying vibrant species like banana and ginger plants.
Alongside the sculpture trail, visitors can also choose to take part in the much loved family fun Poo Trail, loose themselves in the Migration Maze or spend time in the indoor and outdoor play facilities.
Taking part in the trail is included in day ticket entry to the reserve, with prices for adults starting at £16.50. Admission is included for current members.
