Come and enjoy the traditional Japanese folk craft of Sashiko.
Louise Frere-Smith of Mizu-Usagi will be holding Sashiko Taster Workshops in March and April 2026.
These workshops will give you a glimpse into the fascinating world of Japanese Sashiko
In these workshops we will be making traditional Japanese Zokin.
WHAT IS ZOKIN?
Zokin is a traditional Japanese cleaning cloth. Which is hand stitched from repurposed fabric scraps or worn-out clothes.
They are often used for cleaning floors, surfaces and even dishes. Zokin are durable and reusable, making them a sustainable cleaning option.
