Ipswich Music Day
Ipswich Music Day is the UK’s largest free one-day music festival – a vibrant celebration of music, culture and outstanding local talent.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of Christchurch Park, the event features six stages packed with live performances from up-and-coming local artists.
Alongside the music, visitors can enjoy fairground rides for all ages, delicious street food, and a bustling marketplace full of unique stalls.
Stages for 2026
This year’s Ipswich Music Day will have six stages spread throughout Christchurch Park.
The Bowl Stage sponsored by BBC Radio Suffolk, hosted by Wayne Bavin, near to the Henley Road entrance will, among other great artists, feature BBC Introducing Artists.
The Crossroad Stage close to the Westerfield entrance of the park is sponsored and by Costa Coffee.
Next to the playground, lovers of rock and indie music can head to the new Rise Stage which is sponsored by Suffolk Sound.
Pond Stage in the heart of the park will present indie, rap, R&B and DJs as well as hosting the winner of Suffolk One’s Battle of the Bands competition.
Grapevine Stage next to the marketplace will feature acoustic and jazz artists and soul singing groups.
