Ipswich Heritage Open Days

Every year for 10 days in September, Heritage Open Days bring people together to celebrate their heritage, community and history. Stories are told, traditions explored, and histories brought to life. Plus there’s a chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE.
Buildings and places of interest around Ipswich will be open to the public during the festival which runs from 12-21 September 2025.
Amongst many others, events across Ipswich include:
