Food for Thought sessions – Hunstanton

The council’s ever-popular Food for Thought programme is returning, this time at The Community Hub inside Hunstanton Town Hall, for 10 weeks from May 14 2025.

These free, family-friendly sessions aim to help residents learn new cooking skills, swap recipe ideas and discover ways to eat healthy and nutritional food while also saving money.

The live cooking demonstrations will be taking place from 9.30am-11.30am every Wednesday from May 14 until 16 July. They are open to people of all ages and skill levels, are free to attend and no booking is needed so residents can just turn up to any session.

Each week there will be tips about how to cook healthy and tasty food without breaking the bank. The themes to be focused on are listed below, booking is not required:

Week 1 (14/5): Breakfast
Week 2 (21/5): Lunch
Week 3 (28/5): Snacks
Week 4 (4/6): Dinner
Week 5 (11/6): Low calorie cooking
Week 6 (18/6): Batch cooking
Week 7 (25/6): Dietary alternatives
Week 8 (2/7): Low cost desserts
Week 9 (9/7): Fakeaway meals
Week 10 (16/7): Seasonal savings
