Uplifting stories for Norfolk and Suffolk
Creake Abbey hosts the award-winning Farmers’ Market on the first Saturday of each month (excluding January). There are over 50 stalls to choose from offering fresh local produce including meat, fresh vegetables, fruit and flowers in season, cheese, cakes, savoury and sweet tarts, pies, fudge, artisan breads, pickles, oils, vinegars, preserves, local ales and wines, juices and plants plus much more.
The market is held across the site in an old grain store, in two stunning Norfolk brick and flint barns and outside by a picturesque pond.
The market opens at 9.30am and closes at 1pm. The independent shops and services at Creake Abbey are open from 10am to 4pm. Refreshments on the day are provided by our pop-up café, the Barn at Creake Abbey, and from a selection of Norfolk’s finest street foods vans.
At all the farmers’ markets, purchasing on the day is welcome and most stalls accept credit/debit cards however advance orders are also possible – you can find the contact details for stall holders attending each market if you click on the specific market date and scroll down.
