Uplifting stories for Norfolk and Suffolk
Get ready to experience theatre like never before as Limbik Theatre prepares to unveil Edgeland, an innovative outdoor production that transforms the Sweet Briar Marshes into a living, breathing stage for a gripping, playful, and inspiring production that celebrates the intricate connections between human and natural communities.
Edgeland plunges audiences into a gripping mystery: Amanda vanishes on a terrible day, only for her disappearance to be revisited seven years later during a nature tour. The twist? The only potential witnesses are the plants and animals of the reserve, who, frankly, are a bit over human drama.
The show embraces its environment, with audiences taken on a journey through the reserve. Blending immersive 3D audio experienced through headsets and live performances, the show treats the whole landscape like a stage.
Presented by Limbik Theatre, in partnership with Norwich Theatre and Norfolk Wildlife Trust, Edgeland has been co-created with communities and in conversation with wildlife experts. It is supported by funding from Arts Council England and Norwich Freemen’s Charity.
Edgeland is on between 29 May – 15 Jun. For more information or to book, visit norwichtheatre.org or call the Box Office on 01603 630 000.
