East Suffolk sportive – Woodbridge

Ahead of the opening stage of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men coming to East Suffolk, cycling enthusiasts are invited to take part in a special event in Woodbridge.
The East Suffolk sportive takes place on Sunday 31 August and is open to cyclists of all abilities. A sportive is a mass-participation cycling event and offers a great opportunity to challenge yourself over a marked route with support along the way.

The event, Pedal and Picnic in Woodbridge, will be in aid of Suffolk Mind and those signing up early will be automatically entered into a prize draw. Two lucky winners will be chosen, one winner will receive two VIP hospitality tickets to the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men on 2 September, offering a premium view and an unforgettable race day experience, and the other winner will take home a signed jersey, perfect for any true cycling fan.

Entrants can choose from either a 50km or 100km route and a portion of the entry fee will be donated to local mental health charity and proud partner of this event, Suffolk Mind. Suffolk Mind works to promote mental wellbeing across the region, and participation helps support their vital work.

If you would like to get involved in the event but not cycle, there will be family activities at Kingston Field. Bring your friends and family along for a relaxing day out, with a picnic on the grass, free access to the tennis and pickleball courts, games for all ages and a family fun ride.
